If you are anything like me, your days are so crazy and full that it’s hard to wind down at the end of the day even when you are exhausted. As much as I have tried to use stress reducing techniques on my own, I still have trouble turning my over-active brain OFF! I often find myself waking in the middle of the night and laying there until dawn between tears and panic about all of the things I can’t control. I found a saying on Facebook and it talks about hoe highly intelligent have trouble falling asleep. I was sure that had to be my excuse – my being highly intelligent and all….but then My oldest daughter Jennifer turned me onto a wonderful tool that has helped me immensely. She introduced me to a web site called Calm. The site provides a number of meditation techniques that have worked well for me. I have been so excited about how effective the deep sleep meditation has been for me that I’ve been sharing it with everyone I can. Check it out!
